Creating Your evee Account:

To book a car through evee, you will need to create and verify your account and fill out the Personal Info page once verified. To get started, please follow the steps below:

Step One:
Click on the drop-down menu located at the top-right of our homepage and select ‘Sign-Up’:

Step Two:

Choose your sign-up method, being either:

Email Sign-Up: Enter your full name, email address and password. (1)
Social Sign-Up: Select either the Facebook or Google account option to sign-up quickly. (2)

Step Three:
After filling out your details, you will be prompted to enter a verification code to activate your account. please check your inbox for an email containing this verification code.

Setting Up and Verifying Your Account:

Personal Info:

To access and fill out the Personal Info page, head back to the evee home page and click on the drop-down icon at the top right again. Select Account, then Personal Info.

You will need to fill out the following information:

- Date of Birth

- Mobile Phone Number

- The Physical Address you reside at

- Drivers Licence Verification Session (Hosted through Stripe)

- Driver Declaration Form

Drivers Licence Verification:

All drivers licence verification sessions are securely handled using Stripe Identity. The process requires you to scan or upload the front and back of your drivers licence, as well as take a selfie photo which will be matched against this licence.

In order to complete the verification successfully, the First and Last name listed on your evee account must match the name on your drivers licence.

Driver Declaration Form:

This questionnaire requires you to declare your driving history. You must pass this declaration form in order to be eligible to rent a car through evee. In order to pass, the following criteria must be met:

- You must have at least 2 years of driving experience.

- You currently hold a full, unrestricted drivers licence (Learner and Probationary licences are not eligible)

- You have not had any driving under the Influence (DUI) or exceeded Prescribed Content of Alcohol (PCA) convictions in the last 3 years.

- You have not had any motor insurance claims refused or cancelled in the last 3 years.

- You have not had your drivers licence suspended in the last 3 years.

- You have not had more than 3 traffic offences (excluding parking) in the last 5 years.

If one or more of these conditions cannot be met, evee will unfortunately not be able to facilitate bookings on your account until you are able to meet all of the criteria. 

Adding a Payment Method:

To add a payment method for your account, head over to the Payments & Payouts section. This can be accessed from the evee home page by clicking on the drop-down field, selecting Account then Payments & Payouts.
