Additional Fees During Your Booking:
You may incur additional fees for specific services used during your booking. These additional charges may include:
- Exceeding the allocated mileage for your booking. (charged per kilometre)
- Returning the rental later than agreed.
- Returning the rental in an unclean condition. [SEE GUIDELINES HERE]
- Returning the rental with less battery charge than outlined in the host's listing.
- Costs of supercharging during your rental period.
- Toll expenses incurred during your rental period.
- Delivery costs. (for deliveries requested after the booking)
- Repairs for minor damages.
Mileage Inclusions:
Each host will set their own daily distance inclusion for their listing, as well as the cost per additional kilometre for any amount travelled above this inclusion. The daily distance included is displayed under the selected travel dates within the listing.
This allowance is cumulative, and can be spread across your entire rental period.
For example: A listing with a daily allowance of 125km per day with a booking duration of two days includes a total of 250km of mileage. You may travel 50km on your first day and 200km on your second day and still be within your distance inclusion.
To confirm the total distance inclusion and additional kilometre cost, select your travel dates for your chosen listing. Once the travel dates have been selected, the total distance inclusion will be shown:
Late Return fees:
If you are running late when returning your rental, please communicate with your host and keep them updated on your expected arrival time.
Depending on how late you are running to return the car, some hosts may not charge extra for late returns, whilst other hosts may charge a percentage of the daily rate.
Other Considerations:
Your host might set certain standards for using and returning the car. These standards will be mentioned within the description section of the car listing page. If you have any questions or need clarity about these standards, feel free to reach out to your host directly via the 'Renting' section of the platform.
When your host issues a request for additional payment, you will be notified via email. You have 48 hours to review this request before it is processed automatically. If you accept the charges, no further action is necessary. If you dispute the charges, you can reject the additional payment request within the booking and initiate a discussion with your host.
If an agreement on the additional charges cannot be reached, you may escalate the matter to evee for review. We can assess the charge's validity and assist in facilitating a resolution.
Please note: Additional charges will incur a card processing fee. This fee is levied by evee's transaction platform, and is not a source of profit for evee.
