If an accident occurs, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance protects you or anyone else driving your car from being held financially liable for injury to persons. It is mandatory across Australia, but actual requirements differ by state and territory. Please take the time to read the relevant information below as it is your responsibility to register the vehicle correctly for car sharing - failure to do so may result in a penalty from your insurance provider.
Depending on where you live, you may be required to pay a higher premium for changes to your CTP insurance. In some cases, this cost may become tax deductible.
